The Vernon Women’s Transition Society has commissioned April to use this document as a basis for exploring needs and climate for improving services / housing of older women who may be fleeing abuse, in the North Okanagan region of British Columbia. Interviews with providers from the domestic violence and socio-gerontological fields resulted in a suggested plan of action for the region.
